Ryan D. Givens

Ryan is the Global Head of Professional Pricing at AXIS Capital. With over 15 years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Actuary specializing in Professional Lines, Ryan directs the actuarial pricing and analytical initiatives across AXIS’s Professional Lines product suite, including the evaluation and design of data-driven solutions to enhance underwriting processes. He has held various actuarial roles at AXIS since 2015, and his areas of expertise include the Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Transactional Liability, and Cyber Liability product markets in North America, London, Continental Europe and Australia. Ryan worked in the London market for three years as a Senior Professional Lines Pricing Actuary at both AXIS and AIG, and his direct insurance carrier experience began at Allianz in 2011 as a US E&O Pricing Actuary. Earlier he was a Consulting Actuary for six years within the Tillinghast practice of Towers Perrin.

Ryan is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics from Northwestern University. He is currently completing an MBA at City University of London with concentrations in Corporate Strategy and Digital Business. Ryan resides in Chicago with his wife and three children.
