Course Description:

This program will begin with a discussion of the importance of documenting the scope of representation for all new matters, including the specifics of what should be included in a well-written engagement letter. The program will then shift to a discussion of how billing practices can help prevent collection problems, including practical tips to minimize the likelihood of a malpractice claim arising from debt collection activities.
